Canvas eBook Integration Tips

Infobase eBook direct URLs can be added to Canvas using the Link to URL functionality in the Canvas Rich Content Editor.

To link to eBooks from Canvas:

1. In the eBook platform, copy the applicable direct URL to the Clipboard.
2. In Canvas:
   1. In the Rich Content Editor, type the text you want to use as your hyperlink, and then select that text.
   2. Click the Link to URL button on the editor toolbar.  If you don't see the toolbar, check to be sure you are not in HTML view. (You can use the Switch Views link in the upper right corner of the editor to switch between standard view and HTML view).
   3. Paste the eBooks direct URL into the "Link to Website URL" pop-up, and then click the Insert Link button.
