To ensure a smooth onboarding process for your organization, this checklist is designed as a comprehensive guide for administrators to follow as you implement your new Infobase service.

 

Account Setup

  • Primary contacts will receive credentials from noreply@infobase.com. Credentials can also be requested by emailing support@infobase.com.
  • For user access: log in to your products and explore using our Subscriber Page.
  • For admin access: log in to the Admin Portal at https://admin.infobase.com.
  • Please watch our Admin Portal training here.
  • Make sure all relevant staff are added as contacts in the Admin Portal. This will ensure all new title notifications, training and announcements are sent directly to the faculty/staff end users. You can add users individually or in bulk.
  • Enable custom notifications for each user by following these instructions.
     

Explore Our Resources

  • Generate reports using COUNTER, SUSHI, and more by following this guide.
  • Download MARC records to increase discoverability in your catalog.
  • Explore options for remote authentication and LMS integration here.
     

Personalize Your Experience

  • Suppress content through various options: by organization, user type, title, or general suppression. See here for more.
  • Upload custom video content to appear alongside your subscribed content.
     

Marketing

  • Add Infobase icons and descriptions to your existing A-Z Guide. Logos and descriptions are found here.
  • Usage Boosters - including Search Widgets, Subject URLs, Icons, QR Codes, and Preview Widgets - can increase overall user access to the platform. Please find instructions here.
     

Technical Information

  • To ensure our email communications reach you, please request your contacts to add our email addresses as saved contacts: email@email.infobase.com and noreply@infobase.com.
  • Additionally, please request your IT team to whitelist these URLs.
